README

The README file for this repository.

= Climate change mitigation for hackers

Computer science has a significant role to play in reducing humanity's impact on the environment.

This repository will keep lists of relevant resources and research topics for computer scientists who want to mitigate climate change.

Update: See my more recent (October 2019) write-up on https://jack-kelly.com/blog/2019-10-03-using-computing-to-fix-climate-change[using computing to fix climate change].

== Contributing

Contributions are most welcome! This book uses http://asciidoctor.org/[the AsciiDoc format] (just as easy to write as markdown but way more powerful).
